Hong Kong stocks close with another loss
Hong Kong shares closed in negative territory Friday, with traders taking a step back after a rally throughout January was brought to an end, with eyes now on a key US jobs report later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index sank 1.36 percent, or 297.89 points, to 21,660.47.
The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.68 percent, or 22.26 points, to 3,263.41, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange dipped 0.42 percent, or 9.21 points, to 2,163.28.
